We did good work for the 2012 election, but it is clear that there is still more to do.
To bring our stakeholders up to date with what’s been happening in the 2013 session of the NC General Assembly, and to discuss next steps, we have four events planned for June/July:
Three Conference calls
Fridays, 9:30 – 10:15 am
June 7, June 21, July 12
These will be fast moving calls covering more than one issue each week, and including information on what you can do now with the information you’ll receive. We will be posting a recordings of the calls, but do plan to join so that you can make sure your questions get asked and answered.
Register for one or more calls (and sign up for our e-newsletter).
Saturday, July 20, at Bennett College in Greensboro
Gathering of all NC Women Matter coalition partners and activists to assess where we’ve been, where we are going, and discuss strategies and next steps.
This will be a training session for leaders and activists of all experience levels. Attendees will be brought up to date on key issues important to women and families, and we will develop strategies to go forward and inform and engage women.
